The Puraqua Touch filter set consists of 3 filters:

1. Activated Carbon Block Filter (GAC)

2. Sediment Filter (PP)

3. Post-Activated Carbon Filter (PAC)

Activated Carbon Block Filter (GAC)

The Activated Carbon Block Filter (GAC) in the Water Filter Puraqua Touch system is made from baked activated carbon powder. It has a highly porous surface with numerous tiny chambers and channels. This allows it to efficiently absorb contaminants, removing or reducing free chlorine particles, solvents, odors, pesticides, phenol, benzene, and other organic and inorganic pollutants. The GAC filter also includes a fine polypropylene layer for additional filtration of particles as small as 3 microns (3/1000th of a millimeter), ensuring cleaner, safer drinking water.

Sediment Filter (PP)

The Sediment Filter in the Water Filter RO-System Puraqua Touch is designed to remove large particles such as sand, silt, and rust from your water. This filter is made from high-quality polypropylene fleece and has a filtration size of 5 microns (5/1000th of a millimeter). The open micro-pore structure allows it to effectively trap mechanical impurities, making it an essential first stage in the filtration process. The durable polypropylene material is highly resistant to chemicals and prevents the growth of microorganisms, ensuring your water remains safe and clean.

Post-Activated Carbon Filter (PAC)

The Post-Activated Carbon Filter (PAC) in the Water Filter Sonvita Puraqua Touch system is made from high-quality activated carbon granules. Its coarse, porous surface effectively absorbs chlorine particles, odors, tastes, phenol, benzene, and organic pollutants. This filter is essential for enhancing the taste and appearance of your filtered water, ensuring it is free from unpleasant odors and chemical contaminants. The PAC filter also includes an inner polypropylene layer to prevent the carbon granules from escaping, ensuring a clean and smooth filtration process.

Filter Replacement: Easy with the EasyLoad System

Important Notes:

• Replacement filters are hygiene products. Once opened, they cannot be returned.
• Replacement filters should not be stored for more than 12 months to ensure their functionality.
• We recommend replacing your filter every 6 months* to avoid contamination, hygiene issues, and performance loss. Only with regular filter replacement using original filters can we guarantee the optimal function of your system. *Guideline
• The filter lifespan may be reduced due to external factors such as old pipes or hard water, requiring earlier replacement.

As the filters capture impurities, they will change color over time. It is important to monitor filter discoloration and replace them promptly. If your filters have reached the color indicated in the image or are darker, they must be replaced immediately. Continuing to use filters beyond their lifespan can result in damage to other parts of your reverse osmosis system.
